The past week has been full of editing. I finished up the shoot from Virginia and I have been working a lot of really cool things for a new band about to make their debut. The two guys are former members of Runaway Orange, which was a really stellar band. You may have already seen one of the concepts I worked on for them. All Night Dynamite is their new name.

As most of you have already noticed, read, watched and drooled over the new Adobe Photoshop CS4, I think that this upgrade is going to be a real treat for everyone. The new 3D painting and composting will be a really neat feature to play with, but things I am more interested in are new features like the new masks panel, fluid canvas rotation, new adjustment panel and the enhanced workflow between LightRoom and Photoshop. The new masks panel will be great for quick edit masks. Being able to create editable pixel and vector based masks while being able to adjust for the mask density and feathering will improve time consumed in masking in previous versions. The fluid canvas rotation is pretty neat too. To be able to effortlessly move the canvas without distortion and being able to move it around to the appropriate angle is niiice! The adjustment panel is going to make life easier, simply put. Just click the tool you need and, POOF! there you have it to easily enhance color, tone, control presets and use of the new dynamic adjustment makes it all as easy as, POOF!

I am looking forward to playing with this a lot!
